Double-adhesive paper-padded mailer for returns
WaveBag RETURNED is a paper-padded mailer designed to simplify e-commerce returns. It combines Wave Technology cushioning with an integrated paper tear strip and a double adhesive closure, so the same mailer can be opened easily, reused and sent back. It is made for compact products that need protection, comes in three sizes in brown and is recyclable with paper under Aticelca 501 (Level B).

Recyclability and certifications
WaveBag products are made with 100% recycled paper. They are assessed as recyclable with paper at Level B under the Aticelca 501:2025 evaluation system, and as technically recyclable in paper mills with a conventional recycling process, based on independent testing (Innovhub, 2026) to the CEPI recyclability laboratory test method. Dispose of them with paper according to your local collection guidelines. WaveBag products comply with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). FSC® and PEFC™ certified products are available on request.
Frequently asked questions
How does the double adhesive closure work?
The first finger lift adhesive strip seals the outbound parcel. The recipient opens the mailer along the paper tear strip, which leaves the envelope intact, and uses the second strip to reseal it for the return.
Is WaveBag RETURNED recyclable after two uses?
Yes. It is made with 100% recycled paper and assessed as recyclable with paper at Level B under the Aticelca 501:2025 evaluation system, based on testing to the CEPI recyclability laboratory test method. Dispose of it with paper according to your local collection guidelines.
What sizes are available?
Three: D/1 (180 × 260 mm), G/4 (240 × 330 mm) and J/6 (300 × 410 mm), with a 70 mm or 100 mm flap.
Why use a returnable mailer?
The same mailer travels out and back, so the customer does not need new packaging for the return, which makes reverse logistics simpler and helps reduce additional return packaging.
